Our Claims Process
Step 1
Once a covered life event occurs, you may submit a claim on your policy.
Step 2
Submit your claim by email or at your nearest Kganya Lesedi Funerals branch.

Step 3
After all required documents have been completed and submitted, you will receive an SMS confirming receipt of your claim.
Step 4
- Your claim will be assessed and validated.
- If all required documents are submitted, a valid claim will be approved within 24 hours.
DEATH CLAIM
The loss of a loved one is never easy, which is why we have made our claims process simple and stress-free. A valid funeral benefit will be paid within 24 hours after all required claim documentation has been received.
CASHBACK CLAIM
The Cashback benefit is claimed after five years of your active policy, depending on which policy you have taken out. A portion of your premium will be paid back to you. Once you qualify for a Cashback benefit, you will be sent an SMS notifying you of this.
